tax refund from last year had been delayed,everytime i put my ssn on the irs gov website i would get “u made

a mistake” i was doing this since last april and then i stopped checking,I would call the irs and they said that my refund was still processing.O.k fast forward I knew i had to my file my taxes for this year i decided to check the irs.gov one more time today. when i enter my ssn,filing status amount of return hit submit. i got a strange message Your refund was mailed on april 4th,and if
i don’t receive by “may 2nd”give them a call but the refund amount was different instead of x it was $600.00(such a random amount). Finally my question is, is this the famous 2008 rebate check or did my refund from last year get offset and i am know receiving it.This sucks because i moved in the last year.P>S the may 2nd thing is interesting because the last 2 digits of my ssn is 04 and i saw somewhere that checks get deposit on that date. I am so sorry for the long question,I will call the irs tomorrow.
