Getting free traffic to your website requires a considerable effort.

Basically, you need to get links to your website on as many other relevant websites as you can.  There is no such thing as too many links, only too few.

Here’s some good news… if you find the right keywords in niches where lots of money is spent, it can be quite easy to get to the number one position on Google for these keywords.  It won’t take tons of links to get hits on your website in any great numbers.

You just have to do the right keyword research first.  Stop chasing after the highest ranking words.  You’ll never succeed this way.

You’ll also need to buy a domain with keywords in them and create a website.  Use one of the lower volume, high competition keyword phrases in the domain name.  This will get you up the search engine page ranks much faster, and you’ll start to get hits on your website much faster.

Be sure to create a lot of quality content.  Then build some backlinks and drive some traffic to it using one or two free methods.  Before you know it you will be receiving significant traffic.

There are many ways to get free traffic, so don’t go trying all of them at once.  Pick one or two, and make them work well.  Trying to do too many will only frustrate, and leave short of the targeted traffic you’re looking for.
